چکیده
Due to its advantages, the use of clean energy in general and especially solar PV systems offer a great solution problems that people face their everyday life. Generation using system technology is cheaper compared one fossil fuels. Aside from this still has some drawbacks affect performance where ones caused by shadows are considered as big problems. This research work showed laboratory experiments simulations see how affected shading 1.5 kWp been used for study. The simulated with PVsyst (7.0.6 version) experimented within University Rwanda/ African Center Excellence Energy Studies Sustainable Development (UR/ACE-ESD) High E-Tech Smart Grid Laboratory. Laboratory whatever shade applied system, DC voltage current change (increases or decrease) power decreases. In simulation, it notified irradiance losses dependent on time day, sun position, rate created shadow. From results, annual produced near non-shaded 2373 kWh 0% respectively while shaded was 2055 2.1% losses. undoubtedly disturbs well other related works. Based result work, shadow affects at which depends area, much radiation reaches area. increases system’s instability can lose ability generate maximum due user control algorithm degradation output panel produce. Furthermore, investigations need be carried out modify work. Providers based should sensitize issues towards beneficiaries, make follow-up installed so users give special attention they operate system. It recommended continue Rwandan Solar plants case study more investigation.

Characteristics of Different Solar PV Modules under Partial Shading
Partial shadowing is one of the problems that are always faced in terrestrial applications of solar photovoltaic (PV). The effects of partial shadow on the energy yield of conventional mono-crystalline and multi-crystalline PV modules have been researched for a long time. With deployment of new thin-film solar PV modules in the market, it is important to understand the performance of new PV mod...
